Fox's picture as O'Neil surfaces after she reportedly finished filming scenes "at an underground subway station" last week. She flaunts her beauty in a maroon hoodie, a grey shirt, jeans and a pair of boots.

Before Fox, several actresses have previously portrayed the role, including Judith Hoag and Paige Turco. In 2007's animated film "TMNT", Sarah Michelle Gellar was the voice actress for the character.

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the reboot will have "a lot of technology involved" and "a lot of the fight choreography" as previously revealed by Alan Ritchson, who is tapped to play Raphael. Playing Raphael's partners are Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello and Noel Fisher as Michelangelo.

Also starring "Watchmen" actor Danny Woodburn as Master Splinter and Will Arnett in an unspecified role, the upcoming flick is penned by Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, and Evan Daugherty.

Produced by Michael Bay, the Paramount film will open in theaters across the United States on June 6, 2014.

Producer Bryan Burk builds fans' anticipation of annual "Star Wars" film, which will grace theaters every summer starting in 2015, with an update from "Star Wars Episode 7". In an interview with Collider, he revealed that director J.J. Abrams might start working on the film, which is penned by Michael Arndt, probably in early next year.

"We're progressing on a schedule to hopefully begin next year, or the beginning of next year," Burk said, before continuing, "And the location is still kind of floating around in the air all depending on script and a whole bunch of other issues."

Producing the film alongside Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy, Burk then added, "As I just said, everything is kind of a free-flowing thing, and when we feel like the story level on this script and everything is really coming together and schedules are all working and pieces line up, we prowl ahead, and 'Star Wars' will be no different."

After acquiring George Lucas' Lucasfilm for $4 billion last October, Disney has had major plans in mind to expand the "Star Wars" franchise. Besides the annual film and new parks, the studio recently closed a multi-year licensing deal with Electronic Arts to let the video game publisher develop games for mobile devices, PCs and consoles based on the "Star Wars" movies.

The studio will retain the rights to develop online and mobile games.

Paramount Pictures Hit With $23 Million Lawsuit Over 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' Read more: http://www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00060093.html#ixzz2Sc6XBKb7

Paramount Pictures, MGM, Hasbro and Di Bonaventura Pictures are facing a copyright infringement lawsuit over their film "G.I. Joe: Retaliation". Filing the suit on May 3, two of "G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra" writers David Elliot and Paul Lovett are demanding $23 million in damages, claiming that their ideas were "stolen" and used without their names being credited at all in the second film.

After "Rise of Cobra" opened in theaters, the two were asked to collect some ideas of a plotline and character descriptions for the next installment. However, they soon learned that they were not offered the writing gig. "On or around December 3, 2009, Defendants notified Plaintiffs that Defendants had decided to engage a different writing team to write the screenplayfor the Sequel," their complaint chronicles.

As "Retaliation" finally came out, the established scribes thought that the film was "substantially similar [to their ideas] in every material way." "These original inventions, which make Plaintiffs' Proposed Sequel a compelling piece of story-telling, have been stolen by the PDH Defendants in the hopes of infusing the 'Joe: Retaliation' Movie with the blockbuster power of Plaintiffs' Work," the complaint continues.

Regardless of whose ideas were used in the script, "Retaliation" was indeed a blockbuster film which massively outdid its predecessor in terms of income. Released on March 28, the action flick took in $51.7 million domestically in four-day take and ranked as the second-best Easter opening, behind "Clash of the Titans".

Directed by Jon M. Chu, the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson-starring film credited Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick as the screenwriters.

Warner Bros. has hired Christopher McQuarrie to take a double duty in its upcoming film. Penning "The Wolverine" with Mark Bomback and Scott Frank, McQuarrie is set to take charge of "Ice Station Zebra" as a director and a scribe. The film is a remake of the Cold War film of the same title, directed by John Sturges in 1968.

Adapted from an Alistair McLean novel, the original film followed an American Naval submarine team that raced the Russians to retrieve sensitive photographic material in the Arctic. Starring Rock Hudson, the MGM film also included Patrick McGoohan, Ernest Borgnine and Jim Brown in the all-male cast ensemble.

Since the production is in early development stage, no start date has been set yet. It is also still unknown who will land a role in the remake.

McQuarrie is a frequent collaborator of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" helmer Bryan Singer. The two first teamed up in 1995's "The Usual Suspects", for which McQuarrie won an Oscar. They later regrouped in 2008's "Valkyrie", which starred A-list actor Tom Cruise, and recently in "Jack the Giant Slayer", released in last February.

McQuarrie's latest work "The Wolverine" is slated to hit theaters across the United States on July 24.

A new clip for Justin Lin's "Fast and Furious 6" teases a special appearance from British artist Rita Ora. A protege of singer and producer Jay-Z, the "R.I.P." singer shows fans the role she takes over from Rihanna, who had to pass on the offer due to scheduling conflicts, in the newly-released video.

The clip opens with Michelle Rodriguez's brief chat with Vin Diesel, who challenges her to have a race with him. Blonde-haired Ora then comes and steals the spotlight for a moment. As the "head girl" of a London racing crew, Ora is given the privilege to be a starter girl. "This is London, baby," she says, before finally letting the two start driving their cars.

"Fast 6" centers on Dom and his crew as they are given a task by Hobbs to stop an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers, which is apparently led by Owen Shaw with Dom's ex-girlfriend Letty as his assistant. Despite the shocking return of Letty, Dom and his friends still regroup in London to do their job with full pardons to return home and make their families whole again as their payment.

Also starring Paul Walker and Luke Evans, the high-octane film is slated to be released on May 24 in the United States.

Before fulfilling his destiny to be a superhero and "the answer" for Earth people, Clark Kent once had an ordinary life as a young boy just like many other kids. Such impression is clearly seen in the new photos from Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel", which will also be available in "Man of Steel: The Early Years Junior Novel".

In one of the images, fans can see intimate relationship between little Clark and his Earth father Jonathan as the two are all smiles showing off big fish they caught. A pride of Jonathan, Clark is also proudly showing off his medal for winning a science fair, standing next to his project and his dad.

Serving as Clark Kent's timeline, the other six pictures feature Clark as a newborn, a teenager and a grown-up man, who finally realizes the reason of his existence on Earth, the ultimate powers he has and his identity as Superman, the Man of Steel.

The Warner Bros. film stars Henry Cavill as the titular character and Amy Adams as his romantic interest Lois Lane. Additionally, the cast ensemble includes Michael Shannon as villain General Zod, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

Following a great success in international box office, Shane Black's "Iron Man 3" this time rules domestically by landing on the top spot of North American box office in its first week. Taking in an estimated $175.3 million, the Marvel film posts the second biggest opening weekend behind "The Avengers", which opened to $207.4 million in April 2012.

"It is an extraordinary start," Disney executive VP of distribution Dave Hollis tells Reuters. "The start on the U.S. side is something that we are exceptionally proud of." Ray Subers of Box Office Mojo says that "IM3" success factor is placed on the fact that moviegoers considered the film more as a follow-up to "The Avengers" than as a sequel to "Iron Man 2", which was less well-received by critics and fans.

Last week's conqueror "Pain and Gain" tumbles down to the second place. Earning $20.2 million last week, the Michael Bay film about bodybuilders turning into criminals to change their lives bags approximately $7.6 million in its second run.

"42", a tale of baseball legend Jackie Robinson who wore jersey number 42, secures the third place in its fourth week with an estimated $6.2 million, while "Oblivion plunges to No. 4 by taking in approximately $5.8 million. DreamWorks' comedy "The Croods" rounds up the top five with an estimated $4.2 million.

Top Ten Movies at Box Office for May 3-5:
  1. "Iron Man 3" - $175.3 million
  2. "Pain and Gain" - $7.6 million
  3. "42" - $6.2 million
  4. "Oblivion" - $5.8 million
  5. "The Croods" - $4.2 million
  6. "The Big Wedding" - $3.9 million
  7. "Mud" - $2.1 million
  8. "Oz: The Great and Powerful" - $1.8 million

After approaching several Hollywood big names, Relativity Media finally finds the best actor to lead its upcoming film "The Crow". Welsh actor Luke Evans is reportedly attached to play Eric Draven, a murdered rock star who is brought to life by supernatural bird crow to avenge his own murder as well as the murder of his fiancee.

Deadline reports that the Owen Shaw of "Fast and Furious 6" was initially the studio's first choice to play the title role, made famous by the late Brandon Lee. However, he passed on the offer due to his busy schedule. Hence, the studio has decided to push the start date to early next year to accommodate his schedule and to get him signed on.

Before Evans is signed, Tom Hiddleston was said to be the frontrunner for the job as he reportedly had dinner with producers and even sent them a make-up test that he did by himself in London. However, a week later, the studio reportedly withdrew its offer for him and Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard was suddenly rumored to be the next contender.

Spanish director F. Javier Gutierrez is set to direct the remake of the 1994 film, which was helmed by Alex Proyas, with the script by Jesse Wigutow. Edward R. Pressman, Jeff Most and Ryan Kavanaugh are on board to produce the pic, which is based on James O'Barr's 1989 comic book. No release date has been set yet.

'Star Trek 3' May Feature Klingons and Benedict Cumberbatch

May 04, 2013 05:42:47 GMT

Scribe Damon Lindelof hints at the possibility of the 'Star Trek Into Darkness' sequel centering on Klingons and seeing the return of John Harrison.

During the "Star Trek Into Darknessworld premiere in London, screenwriter Damon Lindelof gave hints about what fans would very likely see in "Star Trek 3". Lindelof revealed that the film might have a high chance to feature more Klingons.

"You can never see enough Klingons, and I think in this film we've given the audience a little taste, but there's also a promise that there's a larger conflict on the horizon, and that would be fun to see," Lindelof told HeyUGuys.

Teaming up with scribes Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman in the latest "Star Trek" flick, Lindelof also teased the possible return of Benedict Cumberbatch. "To answer that question would be to determine whether or not he actually survives this movie," he said. "But if he survives this movie, I think that we would be incredibly stupid to not use him again."

"Star Trek 3" reportedly won't have J.J. Abrams back as the director due to schedule conflict with the upcoming "Star Wars" film, "Star Wars Episode 7". Lindelof even told TrekMovie that a "cloning technology" would be needed if Abrams had to be back serving behind the lens. Even so, Abrams himself once said that "it's [still] a possibility."

Meanwhile, Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine are expected to return to the third film. "We both signed on for three movies, so if they make a third one, we'll probably be involved in it. It's exciting to see where the characters have come from, and imagine where they're going," Quinto said.

About the possible new director in the third installment, Quinto was cool with that. "I'm sure whoever he [Abrams] brings on board will be someone who commands our respect," he said.

Warner Bros. builds the anticipation for its upcoming comedy "The Hangover Part III" with the release of the film's first clip. Featuring Bradley CooperZach Galifianakis and Ed Helms, the video centers on a comedic scene of a small fight between Cooper and Galifianakis at a gas station.

When Cooper persuades Helms to help him track down Leslie Chow, Galfianakis interrupts them to show "a strange e-mail." Surprised to know that it's from Chow, Cooper asks, "How did you not know this was from Chow?" He then gets a funny respond from his mate, "I thought it was 'Chow' like 'Goodbye,' you know like 'Ciao,' 'Arrivederci.' "

Directed by Todd Phillips, the third film will see the Wolfpack going on another adventure only this time because of Leslie Chow. Traveling to Tijuana and ending up in Las Vegas, the boys will surely embark on a journey which is no less unusual than what they had before in the first two films.

Penned by Phillips and Craig Mazin, the comedy film sees Heather Graham's return as Jade, and features Melissa McCarthy as a newcomer in the cast ensemble. Also starring Ken Jeong and John Goodman, the film, which has recently debuted a new poster featuring a chicken, is set to hit theaters across the United States on May 24.
